Microsoft Kin Available For Pre-Order From Verizon

Microsoft`s two new handsets, Kin One and Kin two will be available online pre-order at Verizon Wireless on 6th May. However, if you can wait for a week, then these handsets will be available in stores as well.

The Kin phones are a complete blend of Japan`s Sharp hardware and Microsoft`s software.

The Kine One is the smaller of two handsets and is available at US$49.99 with a two year Verizon contract.
The Kin Two, featuring an excellent 8MP camera will cost $99.99 with a two year contract. Moreover, the prices are subjected to $100 mail-in rebate.

Microsoft also advices the Kin users to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide talk plan which is priced at $39.99 per month. It also recommends its users to go for Verizon Wireless Email and Web for smartphone plan, which costs $29.99 per month.

With the Kin, Microsoft has officially entered another race of square-shaped handset devices. As classy as they may look, they are not yet popular in the mainstream mobile market. This phone will be the one to watch out for because if it becomes a hit, may manufacturers will surely follow Microsoft’s footsteps.
